Description
The data reported here represent the results of a water quality monitoring program which was commenced in 1974 and has continued to the present. Its primary purpose was to examine conditions in the River Murray during that period highlighting factors which determined water quality both locally and downstream and identifying potential environmental risks from accelerated urban development. The original study has concentrated on total changes within the Murray and has not attempted to identify the effects of individual inputs. The present report represents an updating of that work concentrating on possible future inputs from Albury with special emphasis on phosphorus.
