Publication no.
MDFRC Technical Report 2/2002
Description
MDFRC item.
Description
Objectives 1. To determine the spatial and temporal variation in the diets of common fish, 2. To examine the relationship between flow regime and the food resources of fish communities, 3. To evaluate the food requirements of common fish species and determine the role of particular food types in structuring native fish communities, and 4. To provide specific environmental flow recommendations to enhance the food availability for native fish species. 5. The project will provide managers with a significant knowledge to help in the design and implementation of environmental flows.
