This chapter presents two case studies suggesting that the seven principles of learning design from the Spaces for Knowledge Generation project have potential in assisting the desing of learning space and in the evaluation of learning space. In undertaking both the design and evaluation of the spaces at two universities the authors elaborate the design principles to include questions that may further guide design and evaluation for multiple stakeholders.
