Description: This paper discusses the influence of predation by a planktivorous fish on zooplankton assemblages within experimental billabongs. Results suggest that the presence of a small planktivorous fish in experimental billabongs had only a small influence on the structure of zooplankton assemblages and densities of rotifers. Microcrustacean populations were dominated by juveniles, however there were greater numbers of juveniles when the planktivorous fish were present.
